A study that included more than 1,000 players found that those who played Rainbow Six Siege were generally more intelligent than other gamers. It also provided insight into the mean IQ of each platform, Are PC Gamers Smarter Than Console Gamers while mobile was last.
The study was conducted by a team of psychologists working with Royal Panda. Participants took an all-four-part IQ test following questions about their game behaviour. Researchers could combine the results and calculate the average IQ for various game platforms. Results for IQ for PC were significantly higher than other platforms, though PS4 was close behind. In analyzing the results from the different areas in the IQ test, However, PC ended second place in Logical Reasoning and Visual Reasoning, but both went to PS4. In the case of Xbox, it came in third place across all four categories.
The study then examined the individual games and found that Rainbow Six Siege had the highest IQ score, close to Among Us and Minecraft. While the results are attractive on their own but it would have been good to have a more detailed review of the method employed to conduct the research. Without an access point to the survey used to determine the demographics, it isn’t easy to draw solid conclusions from this study. What would happen if people had two consoles? What’s the difference in age between the different platforms? Could this influence IQ?
The Royal Panda intelligence test comprised four categories. The categories included aptitude for math, verbal logic reasoning, mathematical ability, and visual reasoning. The tests also showed that those with different tools for playing are better in various areas. PlayStation players, for instance, have a higher proficiency in logical reasoning, visually, and math, whereas PC owners were far better in math and verbal intelligence.
In general, the IQ levels of women players are higher than male players.
According to the study, female athletes’ IQ is more significant than male players. The average IQ for female players who scored higher in the different categories within Royal Panda was 108.4 points, and the average intelligence of male players averaged 102.3 points.
Audiences with the lowest IQ Mobile gamers

Android owners are more intelligent than iPhone owners.
Royal Panda has also reduced the gap between players on iOS compared to Android platforms. The study revealed that the average IQ reported by Android players was 110.3 points, while a typical IQ for iPhone players was 102.1 points.

Conclusion
Intelligence is complex and often not fully understood. It is difficult to determine if video games help you become more intelligent. However, we can test aspects of our cognitive abilities and how video games impact them. It’s not clear in what way video games enhance our cognitive ability. This is because they can select those whose attention ability, memory, learning problem-solving, and decision-making skills are already higher than the average. However, it’s safe to say that people who play sports tend to be higher cognitive skills than the general population.
