Do you want to test a new Elden Ring Dexterity Build? Although we all enjoy swinging a person-sized Hammer around our heads, dexterity is still the superior stat for beating bosses in PvP. It’s a testament to Elden Ring’s power and how fast it can remove bosses when you build things correctly.
Dexterity is more than just bleeding. Although it may seem like curved swords are losing some of their power to match the katana, they still have a satisfying moveset and work well with specific Ashes of War.
This Elden Ring dexterity build guide will show you four of my favorite dexterity setups. You can either try them yourself or have me share some.

Best Elden Ring Dexterity Build
1. Flowing Swordsman
- Weapons Flowing Curved Sword with Ash of War: Sword Dance and Scavenger’s Curved Sword
- TalismansShards of Alexander, Godfrey Icon Carian Filigreed Crest Winged Sword Insignia
- Armor: Blue cloth and Warrior set
- Stat spread: Dexterity, Endurance, Mind
There are rumors of Malenia’s blue-clad warrior, who taught her how bossy she was. Their Flowing Curved Sword can be obtained. It has a special charged attack similar to the Ash of War Sword Dance. You can make some awe-inspiring flowing combinations by adding the Ash of War. Another curved sword is required. I chose to equip the Scavenger’s Curved Blade in this instance due to its inherent bleeding. You will see an improvement in dexterity-scaling if you add the Keen affinity.
You’ll need to improve your sword dancing skills to create talismans. This can be done with Shard Of Alexander, Godfrey Icon, and Carian Filigreed crest. The Winged Sword Insignia, and its variations, can also be used to increase the damage from sword dance’s fast, consecutive strikes.
2. Bloodhound Knight
- Weapons: Bloodhound’s Fang, Bloodhound’s Claws
- Talismans Lord of Blood’s Exultation Carian Filigreed Crown Shard of Alexander Godfrey Icon
- Armour: Bloodhound Knight Armour set
- Stat spread: Dexterity, Arcane, Endurance, Mind
Bloodhound’s Fang, which has excellent scaling and applies to bleed, is still one the best weapons to start with for dexterity. Lord of Blood’s exultation will boost your attack when you trigger that bleed. Shard of Alexander and Godfrey Icon will increase your skill damage while decreasing its FP cost.
This FP reduction is also available if you equip the Bloodhound’s Claws and utilize the Bloodhound’s Step skill. The final touch is the Bloodhound Knight Armour, found in the Gelmir Hero’s Grave Dungeon.

3. Samurai
- Weapons: Cross Naginata or Dual-wield Katanas
- Talismans Lord of Blood’s Exultation Carian Filigreed Crown Shard of Alexander Godfrey Icon
- Armour, Land of Reeds Helmet, and Kaiden Armour Set
- Stat spread: Dexterity, Arcane, Endurance, Mind
Samurai is more than just a starting class. You can make your wandering warrior in any number of different ways. Katanas are one of the most powerful weapons in the game. They have excellent scaling and bleed. You can grab the second Uchigatana from Limgrave and give them the keen affinity for additional dex scaling. Switch things up as you find Moonveil, Rivers of Blood, and the Meteoric Ore Blade. Dual-wielding Katanas are great because you can apply for multiple statuses simultaneously, such as bleeding and frost.
You might get tired of katanas. If so, I recommend the Cross Naginata, located in the Gaol Tunnel dungeon. It’s my favorite weapon in the game. It’s fun to use, has impressive movesets, allows you to access all of the Ashes of War polearms, and can also apply to bleed like a katana. Because they look great together, and the Land of Reeds helmet is available early on, I chose the Kaiden set with Land of Reeds armor. This talisman set, like usual, will increase your powerful katana skill damage and attack when you trigger bleeding.
4. Ravenmount Assassin
- Weapons – Raptor Talons and Hookclaws (in early games)
- Talismans Lord of Blood’s Exultation. Winged Sword Insignia. Claw Talisman
- Armour: Raptor’s Black Feathers and Skeletal Mask
- Stat spread: Dexterity, Arcane, Endurance, Mind
Ravenmount Assassins is a fantastic group that feels like Eileen from Bloodborne. The Raptor Talons, the most dexterity-scaling weapon in the game, also apply bleed. For even more dexterity-scaling, add the keen affinity. You have two options: you can spec into skill damage using Godfrey’s Icon or Shard of Alexander. Using the Winged Sword Insignia or its variants, you can move further towards subsequent attack damage. You could also throw in the Godskin Swaddling Cloth for some health regen.
The Claw Talisman adds a nice thematic touch to your jumping attacks and allows you to trigger a bleed. You can find the Ravenmount Assassin armor set in the Sages Cave dungeon behind some illusory wall.
