I have a real soft spot for the RAM-7, and for the best part of a month, I’ve not touched the gun because of all of the new ones added with the Cold War integration. But I’m bringing it back, and I think it’s just as good as ever.

The RAM is one of the most potent mid to long-range assault rifles in Warzone, but it does take a little bit more skill, I think, to make it work properly. The gun has a horizontal left recoil pole, one of the very few in Warzone that does that; most guns pull to the right, and the max magazine size is 50, not 60, So you’re ten rounds down on most of the other assault rifles you can use.

- Muzzle – Monolithic Suppressor

- Optic – PBX Holo 7 Sight (For Close Range)
- Optic – VLK 3.0x Optic (For Long Range)
That said, with the right sets up it can absolutely dominate, and I’ve got around today that I think showcases that, so this RAM-7 builds. There’s a couple of different ways you can go about it, but there’s one main build that you want first of all, and then there’s an attachment change later on.
Muzzle – Monolithic Suppressor
Monolithic suppressor for 10% damage range and 15% bullet velocity increases and keeps you off the mini-map.
Barrel – FSS Ranger
And then you combine that with the FSS range of barrel for a 37% damage range increase, a 62% bullet velocity increase, and a 20% reduction in vertical recoil. This combination gives you the most range, a massive boost to bullet velocity, and some recoil reduction to help keep things under control. This gives the RAM its place as a mid to long-range option.
Underbarrel – Commando Foregrip
Then take the commando foregrip for reductions to vertical and horizontal recoil. Its horizontal recoil reduction is 15%. Now the reason you want this attachment is that that left-hand horizontal pull that the RAM has since most other weapons in war zone pull to the right there’s going to be some general muscle memory from you there, and most of the time you’ll expect a gun to pull from the right. But the RAM pulls the other way.
So by reducing the horizontal movement by 15%, that will give you a bit more of a chance of keeping your sights on target and the Commando. It doesn’t impact your abs time either, which is increased by the monolithic suppressor. The FSS range a barrel, and our fourth attachment is 50 Round Mags.
Ammunition – 50 Round Mags
This is an absolute must for the round in Warzone, but before 30 Round options simply not enough. You need the 50 rounds to continue it down into a kill at most ranges. And if the Ram had a 60 round option, I’d be taking that every single time.
Optic – PBX Holo 7 Sight or VLK 3.0x Optic
And then lastly, you have an option here; you can take closer range optics for mid-range power like the PBX Holo, for example. Or you could take something with more zoom like the VLK, and that’s also going to give you added recoil reduction benefits for longer-range combat. Either setup works well for the RAM.
