The day has come; it has happened; they just announced that Halo Infinite Multiplayer is launching early. In this post, I’m going to be showing you how to download it right now because it might be a bit confusing; it was confusing for me to download it.

Halo Infinite PC launch will be split between Steam and the Microsoft Store. The critical point to remember is that the game is free to play, which means that even if you have a game pass subscription, you can still download Halo Infinite multiplayer via Steam. Below, we’ve included both installation methods for Halo Infinite Multiplayer.

Download Halo Infinite From Steam

Within the Steam Store, search for Halo Infinite or navigate directly to the game’s store page by clicking here.
Scroll down and click the green Play Halo Infinite icon.
If you’re using a web browser, you’ll now be prompted to sign in or create a Steam account.
To select an installation location within Steam, follow the on-screen instructions.
Allow for the download of Halo Infinite.

Download Halo Infinite From Microsoft Store

Ascertain that you have the Xbox App installed by searching for Xbox in the Microsoft Store.
Launch the Xbox App on your PC.
Log into your Xbox account by clicking the ‘Sign in’ icon in the top right corner.
Utilize the app’s search box to locate Halo Infinite.
From the results, select the Free multiplayer option.
On the subsequent page, click the ‘GET FREE’ button.
Halo Infinite will be added to your account and will start downloading automatically.

Download Halo Infinite on Xbox

Halo Infinite multiplayer is available on Xbox via the Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S Store apps or through the Game Pass app.

Open the Store or Game Pass applications.
Locate Halo Infinite and click on the Multiplayer section.
Select ‘Get Free’ from the Store app. On the Game Pass mobile application. Choose Install.
Halo Infinite will automatically begin downloading and installing.

After downloading and installing Halo Infinite multiplayer, you have to run the game using the same platform you used to download it. Because the multiplayer is entirely free to play, you can enjoy it regardless of whether you have a Game Pass subscription. You will not even be required to purchase the campaign when it launches on December 8.
