How do I get to Elden Ring’s Snow Area?

This snow area is also known as the Mountaintops of the Giants. It is the location of the game’s main story. To access the Grand Lift, you must first get to The Leyndell, The Royal Capital. This requires a medallion. On the other hand, the Mountaintops of the Giants is slightly different. You’ll find yourself at the Grand Lift of Rold northwest of Forbidden Lands, Site of Grace. You can travel to either of two regions of the Mountaintops of the Giants, depending on which medallion you choose when arriving in Rold. To gain entry to the main region, the Rold Medallion will be your first medallion. This medallion can be obtained after you defeat Morgott, an Omen King. You can speak to Melina at the Site of Grace if you visit that location. She will give you the key.

You can also purchase the Haligtree Secret Medallion parts. Two pieces are required to access the secret mechanism in Rold. They will be identical to the Grand Lift of Dectus left and right. The left Medallion piece is available at Castle Sol after you have defeated Commander Niall. Albus, an NPC found off the Village of the Albinaurics Site of Grace in Liurnia, will direct you to the correct Medallion part.

How to defeat Morgott, the Omen King

Morogtt will use a lot of Holy weapons, such as Margit. The boss will summon a huge spear to rush at you or smash the spear tip into the ground in one blow. Bleed damage can result from both blows, but you can avoid them by avoiding the point of impact for as long as possible. Morgott enjoys the dagger-hammer combination Margit preferred. Instead of rising into the air, the monster will throw three rounds of daggers at your face from a distance before striking you with his Hammer.

You can counter this by doing a sideways dodge roll to avoid the daggers. Then, dodge roll under Morgott’s Hammer Smashes to land a decent strike. You’ll see many chained combination moves in the fight against Morgott. They’ll come fast. The boss will summon the Hammer once more and spin around, holding the sword and the Hammer in one hand. This is the most difficult attack sequence you can evade in the fight against Morgott, the Omen King. Timing your dodges carefully, so you are halfway through the attacks before the boss hits you.

During the second phase, the boss may also unleash a barrage with Holy swords. The boss will summon swords that point towards the ground above him. This is your cue not to back down, as the swords will fall around him for a while before spreading out straight lines towards his boundary. You can raise your head slightly if unsure of standing under the swords’ path. Finally, Morgott can incorporate Bleed damage into his sword during this phase. The attack is described as a significant, slashing blow. It is telegraphed by the monster holding his sword point back and charging toward you. If you can dodge the strike just before Morgott releases his blade, you should be able to avoid it.
