So today, Warzone got an update, and I thought that update would fix all of the issues plaguing the game recently. I was pretty confident the Infinity War had basically done some server-side tweaking to get rid of many of those problems, like the crash that was happening when you picked up a bouncy contract. Those were then disabled server-side for a week or so so you couldn’t pick them up, and the game wouldn’t crash anymore.

Best Jak-12 Loadout Warzone Attachments
- Muzzle – FORGE Tac Marauder
- Barrel – ZLR J-3600 Torrent
- Stock – JAK Rabbit Ultralight
- Underbarrel – Merc Foregrip
- Ammunition – 8-R Dragon’s Breath
I thought this patch would be stuff like that, just fixing the game, but we also actually got a new weapon today. As you might know, the Jak-12 for the AA-12 shotgun is a fully automatic shotgun. And yes, I can see you shaking your head and rolling your eyes down in the comments already.
I’ve got it unlocked and fully maxed out already. And I’ve given it a go in Warzone. So that you can see some gameplay of what it’s really like.
Muzzle – FORGE Tac Marauder
So this is the loadout that I’ve been running with the Jak-12 all day. I’m using the new blueprint that’s available in the store at the moment with a couple of changes on it. I’ve got the Forge Tac Marauder muscle, first of all, for tighter pellet spread and increased damage range as well as sound suppression keeping you off the minimap in Warzone.
This is basically a beefed-up monolithic suppressor, and it also slightly reduces recoil due to its size and weight.
Barrel – ZLR J-3600 Torrent
Then you’ve got the torrent barrel equipped again to extend damage range which is important for shotguns in Warzone, just giving you a couple of extra meters of max damage range that can be really, really helpful in certain gunfights.
This barrel again tightens up pellet spread even more. If you are running standard ammunition.
Stock – JAK Rabbit Ultralight
then I’ve opted to take the jak rabbit ultralight stock, as the name suggests, that I will lighten up the weapon a little bit here on the Jak-12. You cannot run any stock option, which I think is a little bit disappointing. That would have been really cool to lighten up the weapon. But considering this is a fully automatic shotgun, you hold down the fire button, and the round start comes out of the thing. Perhaps a no stock option would have likely increased recall so much, but it wouldn’t have been worth using. So maybe that’s why it’s not available.
So this ultralight stock gives you slightly better movement speed but overall, this build is right here on the screen. It is on the heavy side. It was actually easier for me to run with the RAM-7, or it felt like I was running faster with the RAM-7 built for long-range heavy combat, but it was running with my shotgun.
Underbarrel – Merc Foregrip
Then I’ve taken the Merc foregrip to keep recoil down and apply some tightening of the hip-fire spread, which is again important when running with a shotgun. A lot of the time, you will be hit firing it.
Ammunition – 8-R Dragon’s Breath
And then finally, Dragon’s Breath rounds. Yes, I know I’m a scumbag for using them. But everyone was using them in multiplayer when I was ranking them up. And they did seem to work really, really well. And then I switched to them. And I started killing a lot more people. They’re the ammunition to use on shotguns right now. They are very powerful.
You can equip a couple of other ammunition types beyond Dragon’s Breath, though; there is a frank round option, so a solid projectile that explodes on impact. That’s pretty awesome. And it reminds me of the use as 12 Frag rounds from Battlefield three. Let me know if you remember those, and there’s also a slug option and extended drum magazines for normal pellet ammunition.
Now, as I said, this builds quite heavy for my liking, but it’s what I ran with today. I had some good rounds with it. I’ve had some good moments.
